BSP Financial Group Ltd recently announced the appointment of Mr Chris Doran as the new Country Head for BSP Financial Group Cook Islands.

Doran brings a wealth of experience in banking operations, garnered over a Banking career spanning 18 years. Chris brings with him extensive experience in the BSP Cook Islands operations, having been based in the Cook Islands since 2015 when he commenced in the role of Head of Business Banking and most recently, Head of Retail for BSP Financial Group Cook Islands.

“Chris is no stranger to the Cook Islands,” stated Maryann Lameko-Vaai, General Manager Pacific Markets, BSP Financial Group Ltd. “With his experience and strong leadership, I am excited that he will play a key role in driving our Cook Islands business forward.”

Cook Islands Financial Services Development Authority CEO Tony Fe’ao acknowledged Chris’ proven track record, having been an part of the banking landscape here since 2015.

Before his arrival to the Cook Islands, Chris held various roles with Westpac Banking Corporation in Australia across both the Retail & Commercial businesses.
