Cook Islands take centre stage at America Outbound

The Cook Islands financial services industry will take centre stage at the prestigious America Outbound Summit in California on the 7th and 9th of May in Los Angeles and San Francisco respectively. Cook Islands trust company executives will feature both guest speakers and panelists.

Cook Islands Finance CEO Tony Fe’ao was pleased to have secured speaking slots at this year’s Summit, and the benefit to the industry that opportunities to take the stage provide.

“Speaking opportunities can be difficult to secure at conferences,” stated Fe’ao, who will attend the conference on behalf of Cook Islands Finance.

“Having Cook Islands trust companies take centre stage at both event locations is a prime opportunity to showcase the benefits of our financial jurisdiction, lift our profile at the event, and position our representatives as thought-leaders and experts in offshore financial services.”

Cook Islands Finance will be represented on stage by Tine Ponia, Managing Director of Asiaciti Trust, and Matthew Smith, General Manager of Southpac Group. The pair will share speaking duties, as well as offer specialist insight and knowledge on stage in panel discussions focused on offshore finance.

“Tine and Matthew will bring considerable experience and value to conference delegates. Both manage successful Cook Islands trust companies, have decades of experience in wealth protection, and are well-equipped to effectively communicate the advantages of our jurisdiction in an engaging manner.”

“It’s great to have them on board for this campaign.”
