Maritime Registry

The Pacific was the first ocean to be explored and settled. Its history is one of voyages and that tradition continues today. Located in the center of the South Pacific, it is only fitting that the Cook Islands has become a thriving international Maritime registry center.

Cook Islands Maritime has worldwide representation in: USA, Australia, New Zealand, UK, China, Sweden, Russia, Panama, Singapore, Hong Kong, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, Spain, Ireland, Korea, Uruguay, Marshall Islands, and South Africa.

The Cook Islands operates an Open Register for Ships and Yachts. Maritime Cook Islands performs the Flag State responsibilities on behalf of the Cook Islands Ministry of Transport. Registrations are compliant with the Cook Islands Maritime Legislation and IMO Conventions.
